The second legal education seminar for international students was successfully held in room 531 of main building by the International Student Center, Logistic and Security Department of HITWH, Exit and Entry Management Bureau of High district, Weihai, as well as police station of the golden beach. More than 80 students of HITWH, teacher representatives of language classes as well as staff of international student center participated in the activity. Those who also attended the seminar included Dong Ke, deputy director of the international cooperation office and deputy director of the international student center; wang Libo, staff of Logistic and Security Department, Wang Hongjia, captain of the Entry and Exit Management Brigade, police officer Shi Yuanyuan and Li Pengfei, police officer of Golden Beach police station of Weihai.

First, officer Shi Yuanyuan introduced students to the Exit and Entry Administration Law of the People's Republic of China, visa verification, residence permit and other important information and time node such as passport handling, visa and residence permit application and extension, the necessity of the accommodation registration, application procedures and punishment for violating regulations. After that, officer Li Pengfei introduced the real cases of Internet fraud, telecom fraud and other crimes that happened on campus as well as the M.O. of criminals, and reminded the students to strengthen safety awareness to avoid personal property losses. This legal education seminar could help students to effectively protect their own rights and interests and avoid personal and property losses.

The international students center and the logistics department of our university attach great importance to the management of international students, they made legal education the first lesson of a new semester and worked hard on the safety education for international students. This seminar is of great significance in helping new international students to establish correct legal concepts, strengthen the awareness of self-protection, effectively prevent the occurrence of illegal and criminal cases, and ensure campus safety. It is hoped that the students' awareness of the rule of law can be gradually improved through this education session. This seminar aims to mobilize all international students in our university to make joint efforts to strength their law-abiding awareness and cultivate a good learning and living environment together.
