On the morning of April 3, international students gathered together at the teaching building of HITWH, celebrated Qingming Festival and enjoyed the exchanges of different cultures.

Members of international exchange association introduced the cultural traditions of Qingming festival, such as sweeping tombs, planting trees, flying kites, outing etc. and distributed the traditional food of Qingming festival, Qingtuan to international students which won many praises from overseas students. The method of making qingtuan is not complicated, but the perfect combination of wormwood, bean paste and glutinous rice constituted a traditional Chinese cuisine. The stories about qingtuan shared by students added special flavor to this gathering. Though in a foreign country, the overseas students gained sincere friendship.

This activity also enabled international students to have a better understanding of China's culture and have a deeper understanding of the connotation of the traditional Chinese festival.
